GhostWriter Airshows
Share
Today, Nathan flies GhostWriter in an action packed routine full of loops, rolls and verticals, held tightly in front of the crowd.
As seen at Airshows across the country, the cover of USA Today, TLC, Discovery and countless local news stations & magazines across the country, GhostWriter is a nationally known skywriter & airshow performer.
⭐️2023 Bill Barber Award for Showmanship In 2016, with a well-established airshow career, Nathan took full control of the formerly known SkyDancer and re-named the ship GhostWriter, in reference to his skywriting persona; visible message and seldom seen scribe. When night falls and the stars come out, he lights up the sky with 200lbs of wing mounted pyrotechnics, as he dances across the sky.
Thought I had him….🤏 so close!

If you couldn’t hear the GhostWriter before, you can now!
Had the amazing opportunity to join some fellow night show performers and good friends at to talk about the behind the scenes logistics of night airshows.
Thanks to Jack for moderating and to AOPA for having us! If you attended this session, we hope you were able to walk away with a little more understanding of the work and thought process that goes into these amazing pyrotechnic finales at places like EAA AirVenture as well as our own individual night aerobatic performances!
Oshkosh went by as fast as this video!
Who’s missing it already?
