Most parents know about the short-term side effects of antibiotics.

Fewer realize they can also have lasting effects on the gut microbiome, immune system, and nervous system—especially when used repeatedly in early childhood.

Does that mean antibiotics don't have a place? Absolutely not. They can be life-saving when truly needed.

But it does mean parents deserve to understand both the benefits and the risks so they can make informed decisions for their families.

In this article, Dr. Tony Ebel breaks down the short- and long-term effects of antibiotics, why overuse has become such a concern, and what parents can do to support their child's health naturally. 👇

We may be a chiropractic office, but today's patients were a little furrier than usual. 🐱🐾 Needless to say, productivity went down and kitten snuggles went way up! We loved having these tiny visitors stop by the office and brighten our day❤️

Teens can head back to Rapids Water Park without a chaperone after the Riviera Beach attraction ended its temporary youth supervision policy. The rule had required guests 17 and younger to be accompanied by an adult 21 or older.

Mom and Dad had already explored physical therapy and were in the process of having Michael evaluated for a helmet to address his flat spot. But Mom still felt uncertain—wondering if it was the right path and whether it would fully help him overcome his challenges.

After a PT visit that recommended stretches they had already been doing, they decided to bring Michael in for an evaluation with the PX Docs. ❤️

His neurological scans revealed significant neurological tension throughout his body. Through gentle, specific pediatric adjustments, Michael quickly regained the motion he had been missing, and the challenges related to his torticollis began to improve.

Today, Mom describes Michael as “the happiest baby.” 🎉 His torticollis is a thing of the past, his head shape continues to improve, and he’s meeting all of his developmental milestones with ease.

Way to go, Michael! We’re so proud of you and grateful to be part of your journey. ❤️

What we do as chiropractors is look 👀 for areas of stress in the spine and nervous system that cause pain 😖 and dysfunction. What we call a Subluxation.

Think of your spine like a neurological fuse box 🔌. When a fuse gets overstressed, it blows (subluxation), cutting power to different parts of the house. The lights 💡 stop working. The appliances 📻 won’t turn on.

The lights and appliances aren’t the real problem — the fuse box is.

Pain, dysfunction, and dysregulation in the body are usually just symptoms of a deeper issue: a subluxation. 🔍

To see your bones, we use X-rays 🦴.

To “see” your nervous system, we use a Neurological INSiGHT Scan (EMG, Thermal & HRV).

Have your kiddos scanned today and see what's actually going on.
