We wanted to let everyone know that we are having issues with our phones but we are here and able to assist you. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope the issue will be resolved soon.

Update: We have all equipment up and running and just got a new load of mulch in. Great time to get the yard looking perfect for the upcoming holidays.

Due to equipment issues we will only be able to load sand and mulch between the hours of 8am and 3pm Monday through Friday. We hope to have it fixed and running before Friday of this week.

Today we had the opportunity to make a difference for some of the teachers at Sandy Hook Elementary School. They posted a need and we were able to help. It is things like this that makes living in this community such a blessing.

On Sunday night the gnome arrived at Borden Lumber.

Today he will endure a day a spa treatment by our very own Barbara Plitt.

As the last phase starts in our parking lot we wanted to let you know that we are open and ready to help in anyway we can.
Please use the entrance across from the museum and Please use caution when walking into the store. The crew is very cautious but lets help them out by keeping our eyes open as well. Thank you.

Due to the unfortunate circumstances that happened at the milk plant Borden's will be closed today. We send our prayers to the employees and thier families.

Just a heads up for 7/28/21.
The main entrance for Borden Lumber will be shut down due to Paving. Please use the secondary entry across for the musuem

Due to the continued labor out in front of our store, both main entrances will be closed until Monday. However, there will still be a way in! There will be an entrance by the railroad tracks that you may use to enter and leave that will be marketed off. Please be patient and mindful of the crew working on the road while entering and leaving. We thank you for your understanding through this time!

Looking for an energetic, dependable person to fill a dual roll with our businesses that will be opening in Strasburg Va. Duties to include but not limited to pick up and delivery of supplies and equipment, loading and unloading various materials and keeping outside and inside work materials in orderly condition. Good people skills a definite plus. Willing to train the right person, must be willing to learn. Established business with growth opportunities.
MUST BE A LICENSED DRIVER IN STATE OF VA AND HAVE GOOD DRIVING RECORD.

We will be open today from 8am-2pm for Memorial Day! We hope you have a safe and happy holiday!

Starting tomorrow, our main entrance will be closed off due to road work! However, our second entrance that is located across from the Strasburg Museum will be available for use in the meantime. We do ask to please be respectful to all of the roadworkers as they continue working hard to finish their job. Thank you so much for your understanding!

Borden Lumber is looking to hire new and motivated employees. We are looking for individuals to work both the lumber yard and the hardware store. Basic knowledge of computers, lumber yard basics, and willingness to operate skid steers and forklifts (experience is preferred). Will need to be willing to work Saturdays.
