As some of you may know, we have been in the process of designing a new outdoor beer garden and kitchen expansion. After being wrongly deined a Conditional Use Permit, we are excited to announce that things are back on track. Upon review, a judge has decided to grant our permit. We hope to begin construction this winter or spring. See you outdoors soon! 35 years ago, August 30, 1987 - Main Street Market opened our doors. It was the Thursday before Labor Day weekend; we were planning to open at 9:00 am but had to push it up to noon because we were not quite ready!
As you can see by this picture, much has changed! The sign is still in the same location on our property - but no patio, landscaping, sidewalks or Market Street!
Even though MSM and Egg Harbor have changed dramatically in 35 years, our core business has stayed the same. Family owned and operated for all those years - with more family and thousands of MSM staff delivering high quality products and superior customer service to residents and visitors alike.
We are very proud of our market and our place in this community of Door County. Thank you for allowing us to serve you.❤

Happy Saturday!
Waking up a little fuzzy this morning, not gonna lie... but I haven't celebrated my birthday like that in a good long minute.
Thanks to Sue Crall and everyone at Sister's Saloon Inc for just a great night! Lots of fun, great decorations, whiskey, and sweet tea vodka! And we get to do it again today at 1pm!!!
Thanks to the Gummy man for the pic, and a nice bottle of Shanky's which WILL be given a good and proper home, rest assured!
And to the big boss man and Susan, thanks for the lovely Choucroute dinner before the show, prepared by Chef Ray...

Did you know? Church Street construction is finished and lends the perfect opportunity to park once and explore all Egg Harbor has to offer! Church Street is located just one block off the highway and is complete with ample parking, sidewalks, bike lane and lighting! It is a great option for busy weekends and easy parking!

Sunday, August 14, 2022: Road Closure Reminder
Thank you to everyone for bringing your patience and allowing extra time to drive through Algoma, WI during the Shanty Days festival.
Due to the rescheduled Shanty Days parade to Sunday, August 14, 2022, at 12PM there will be extra road closures this afternoon. Please do not park along the parade route, marked in green on the map, until the conclusion of the event. Please be mindful when parking in the residential areas as well as near businesses who are open today. Thank you!
The parade begins on Parker Ave and Fremont St. near Algoma Long Term Care, will travel east on Fremont St. to 4th St (Hwy 42), north on 4th St. to Steele St., east on Steele St. then south on 2nd St. and conclude near the Main Grounds.
- 4th and 2nd streets will reopen to traffic after the parade but please use caution, expect slow downs and watch for pedestrians.
- Fremont St. from 6th St. to 4th St. and 4th St. to 2nd St. will remain closed for the Arts N Crafts and Street Fair until 4PM.
Anyone traveling through Algoma during the parade can use the alternate routes highlighted in purple on the maps in this post, keeping in mind that the parade will be lining up in the neighborhood surrounding the Algoma Long Term Care building.
