Sisters participated in the Pink Ribbon Symposium on Wednesday where we learned about different aspects of Breast Cancer including it’s history, the risks associated with the disease, and different precautionary strategies to take. Shoutout to Mentors in Medicine for having us and hosting yet another successful event!

We, the sisters and brothers of Epsilon Sigma Phi, Sigma Iota Sigma, MALIK, and Phi Chi Epsilon are working in tandem with Stony Brook's Volunteer Ambulance Corp to educate ourselves on how we can better our community by understanding resources available to combat substance abuse in ourselves, and our peers.

Today we remember those who lost their lives during the terrorist attacks on 9/11 and the braves souls who attempted to help during this crisis. The sisters of Sigma Iota Sigma would like to extend our hearts out to all those who lost a someone close to them on this day. 💜
