Finding A Best Friend rescues and rehabilitates abused and neglected animals. We are a nonprofit that is funded 100% by your donations (no other assistance).
We are 100% foster based. Check out our linktree! https://linktr.ee/findingabestfriend Finding A Best Friend is a place to find your true companion. We take the necessary steps to make sure that you and your best friend are right for each other. We also check in even after an adoption to see that you and your new best friend are adjusting well (and to also help answer any questions). We rescue animals that no one wants, the underdogs, the lost causes. We give them that second chance and help bring out their true personalities and confidence. We treat all our rescues as if they are our own, which means we make sure that the new home that they get is as loving or even more. Our goal is to find homes for all our rescues and make sure that they have the love, stability and structure that they need and deserve. We consider our adopters an extended part of the family and keep a close contact with all of them. We also are a resource to them and we are here to help them. As a small family non profit organization, we depend on your donations and appreciate your donations. Our mission is to rescue and help bring awareness to animal cruelty. Our wish is that one day our rescue will go out of business because every animal in this world would be saved and would be able to live in peace.

Hello Friends,
We need your help. We are in desperate need of dog food and puppy pads. Our effort in the homeless community, feeding, spaying/neutering dogs and TNR feral cats has not stop. These last 6 months we have been stretched very thin. We just need help. Our rescue dogs are on a specific food due to allergies and digestive issues. If you could help in any possible way, it would be greatly appreciated and a tax write off.
Please consider donating to Finding A Best Friend Rescue. We are small rescue trying to make a big difference in the animal community🐾 Help us, give them the second chances they deserve.

We invite you to join us for a meet-and-greet with our adoptable puppies this Saturday, February 21st, in Danville. Pyrenees Pets will host us from 12-3pm. We look forward to seeing you there.
Meet Boo, a distinguished gentleman of a dog, whose age may be a mystery, but his charm and personality are clear as day. This senior mixed-breed boy found was living on the streets with his owner, until the owner passed away. He's now looking for a new family to call his own. Boo is an independent soul who enjoys the simple pleasures in life - a cozy couch to lounge on, tasty food to nibble on, and peaceful walks to explore his surroundings. Boo is very shy at first and takes some time to warm up. He will need a family with patience to let him settle in until his he's comfortable in his new surroundings. He's a quick learner and has picked up the joy of walking, though he still loves his downtime and a good nap! Boo is a gentle, calm presence and would make a wonderful companion for a quiet household. He's a bit of a foodie and will always be up for mealtime, but he also knows how to relax and enjoy the quiet moments. Boo is a little unsure around children, as they can be a bit scary, and he'd prefer a home without them. He's happy to share his space with furry friends, though, and gets along just fine with other dogs. Boo is a real cuddler and would love to snuggle up with his new family in bed, offering them all the love and loyalty a dog can give. If you're looking for a mature, wise companion to add a little extra love to your life, Boo is your man. He's waiting patiently for that second chance to show someone just how wonderful a companion he can be. Could you be the one he's ready to call his very own?
