On Memorial Day Commander Emerson went to the Stockton Civic Center for the VFW's Memorial Day ceremony, there were many other members of VeteranHelp.net also there.
After Commander Emerson I went to his American Legion Post 803 for a Memorial Day open house ceremony.

Today Commander Emerson and members Dan Fischer and Gary Colburn attended our Veteran/Teacher Award ceremony honoring past Navy Corpsman Allen Lujan who is an awesome teacher at the Walton Special Center School in Stockton, California.
We also invited Allen to join VeteranHelp.net and he accepted.
We are happy to honor Allen and have him as a new member. 🇺🇸

Today Commander Michael L. Emerson and member Dan Fischer presented Navy veteran Brian Bird with our 2026 Veteran Teacher of the Year Award for the Lodi School District.
The ceremony was held at the Morada Middle School where Brian teaches 7th grade.
We also gave Brian 2 free meals from the Stockton Sizzler restaurant and a free haircut from the Village Barbershop in Lincoln Center, Stockton.
We also invited Brian to join VeteranHelp.net and he agreed, welcome to our organization Brian.
The students and other teachers were happy to attend and witness Brian getting his Award. 🇺🇸
