When I drove to Key Food today it was great to have clear roads and easy parking. However I was stunned to see the poor access to the sidewalk at the corners and from the on-street parking. Beginning with the residents at Stewart Avenue heading south to Tulip Avenue, it was mostly a disaster and a fall-waiting-to-happen. If the homeowners and merchants aren't going to make paths from the street, then the Villages of Stewart Manor and Floral Park DPW should do it and bill the homeowners and merchants for doing the job. It's important everyone be able to move about safely in the snow and shop in our wonderful assortment of stores.

A group of Nassau County residents created a same day delivery service so shoppers can have another option to shop local besides curbside pickup. Please contact us if you'd like to join our platform.

Is there a way to consolidate all of the gofund me pages in one link that are circulating for the relief of the businesses there? I would like to see visibility of all open campaigns that are assisting.

On September 27th, the lives of local businesses owners on Covert Avenue in Floral Park changed. Fire devastated multiple businesses in a small shopping center. Our communities always come together in a crisis, and we must come together now, as we know how. This fund is in partnership with surrounding communities. Monies raised will be distributed to the businesses directly affected by the fire.

OMG, I was so sorry to hear that the block that houses Covert Optical, VIP Pizza, Covert Perks, Capos and Park Place went up in smoke this morning - so sad. I hope they’ll rebuild and come back strong.

Hello community businesses. The sewanhaka girls basketball team has brought home the Long Island Championship home. We need help to send them to the county awards dinner at end of the month. Let’s step up as community leaders and donate to help them achieve this. The cost is $50 per ticket and we have a team of 15. Let’s do this, these are the kids you see up and down covert spending money in most of your establishments. Any bit helps.
