Thank you for being part of the Mozaic family! 🌍🫶
Thanksgiving is about gratitude, family, and togetherness. At Mozaic, our mission extends that spirit to refugee families, building alliances that embody compassion and support. Together, we create a true sense of home. 🧡
This season, let’s remember: our family grows with every story shared, every hand extended, and every heart opened.
Mozaic Family wishes you a happy Thanksgiving!
”
Last Thursday, Mozaic Center opened its doors and hearts to welcome new families into our community. It was a heartfelt gathering where past and present connected, and cultures from around the world came together as one.
Our sewing studio class graduates from last year reunited with this year’s students, joined by our dedicated ESL and sewing teachers, beloved volunteers, and cherished community members. Each lady brought a dish representing her culture and homeland, transforming our table into a beautiful mosaic of flavors and stories. Despite speaking different languages, everyone shared a universal language of belonging and joy, feeling the warmth of reunion and the excitement of meeting new families.
The free souq was more than just a place to choose goods; it was an icebreaker, a bridge between past struggles and future hopes. As bread was shared, so were stories, introductions filled with both tears and laughter, reflecting the complex journey of starting anew. Each woman carried memories of a life left behind and dreams for the life ahead, blending grief with ambition.
At Mozaic, we strive to be more than a center; we aim to be a second home. We bind hearts, mend spirits, and create a space where every refugee feels seen, valued, and connected. Together, we build a community that celebrates resilience, supports growth, and finds strength in unity.
Your support this giving season will make a significant difference in the future of these ladies. To contribute to their success donate today - link in bio
