EXPERIENCING GOD – Knowing and Doing the Will of God

Men – join us as we kick off this exciting new season of FUEL!

We’ll be engaging in a spiritual journey together that will help us to know God in a more intimate way, by experiencing Him at work in our lives. It’s the kind of relationship that Jesus intended in John 10:10 when Jesus said that He came so that we might experience true life in its fullest measure.

Since 1990, God has used the truths of Experiencing God to awaken believers to a radically God-centered way of life. As a result, millions have come to know God intimately, to recognize His voice, and to understand His will for their lives.

Here’s what you can expect from participating in this study and season of FUEL:

• Learn to discern when God is speaking to you.
• Recognize God’s activity around you.
• Adjust your life to God and His ways.
• Identify what God wants to do through you.
• Respond to God’s activity in your life.
• Find where God is working and join Him.
• Be conformed into the image of God.
• Look to God, listen to Him, and watch for what his directives are.
• Obey God in every area of your life.
• Gain an understanding of what Scripture teaches about interacting with God.
• Adjust your life to be more fully used by God.

Men – it’s time to move from information and education to application and transformation! In this study on The Lord’s Prayer, we’ve considered many truths. When we pray, we align ourselves with the purposes and power of God. The challenge is that without actually putting prayer into practice, we may know more information about prayer than experiencing its purpose.

But there is a way, and God stands ready – Jesus gave it to us in His model for how we ought to pray.

Men – in Mat 6:13, we are instructed to ask God to lead us not into temptation. Of all the requests in The Lord’s Prayer, on the surface, this is perhaps the most perplexing one. While we know God wants to guide us and provide for us, is it ever in His nature to lead us into temptation?

FUEL IS ON BREAK Dec 21st resuming Jan 11th 2023!

Men – it’s a great privilege and encouragement to serve in God’s work as we come together weekly to get FUELED UP in Jesus. Thank you for your faithfulness to one another by showing up at 0630h, engaging in discussion and living out the gospel of Jesus Christ. We look forward to what The Father has for us all in 2023!

Meanwhile, may you all experience to the fullest, the true peace and joy that only Jesus gives during this Christmas with your loved ones and throughout 2023!

Be reminded that because of God’s great love for you and your worth to Him, He gave the greatest gift that we might be restored and live true life in Christ.

4 But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons.

AN ATTITUDE OF GRATITUDE

Men – why do we so readily judge the Israelites for their complaining spirit shortly following their freedom from bo***ge in Egypt, while we not only overlook giving thanks, but often grumble about circumstances ourselves?

Yet, The Bible tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 to give thanks in everything - for this is God’s will for us in Christ Jesus.

FORGIVENESS – Wrap Up

Men – why does Jesus teach us in Matthew 6:12 to ask for forgiveness from God as we forgive those who have wronged us? Is it necessary for us to forgive others in order to be forgiven?

The bitter root of unforgiveness is like a weight that burdens us from fully experiencing the very freedom Jesus gives. Unforgiveness has been called the poison pill we swallow hoping someone else would die.

SPECIAL FUEL EVENT Tomorrow, Nov 2nd!
A WITNESS TO THE BATTLE

Men – it’s mission’s week at RBC and tomorrow at FUEL we will have the blessing of hearing from a brother who is on the mission field with his family.

With all that’s going on in the political cycle and the growing spiritual battle in our society, it’s encouraging to hear how the gospel is advancing in a country with the largest Muslim population and that sharing the gospel could lead to persecution.

Join us at FUEL tomorrow not only for yourselves, but for one another, and that we might be an encouragement to this dear brother willing to join us and share. To be with us, he will have to get up even earlier as he’s in a different time-zone. You just need to show up! Invite a friend!

Men – why does Jesus teach us in Matthew 6:12 to ask for forgiveness from God as we forgive those who have wronged us? Is it necessary for us to forgive others in order to be forgiven?
