The couple who live here both LOVE sports. We incorporated their collected team memorabilia into a game room and media area, featuring a lounge space, chess table, aquarium, pool table, shuffleboard, foosball and bar area where the husband can pump his home brews through the wall from his brewing space behind. For the wine collecting wife, we carved out a little cellar space under the stairs.

Let's hope there will be some triumphant Stanley Cup memorabilia to add this year!

Public installations for Tesla's first solar tiles are beginning today. Excited to see how these develop and change the industry. With 35% active tiles, they are estimating a cost of around $22 per square foot. That's pricey - however, Tesla says "Glass solar tiles are so durable they are warrantied for the lifetime of your house, or infinity, whichever comes first." - a pretty impressive claim. The slate and tuscan styles aren't available yet, but the renderings are gorgeous.

Remember solar roof? Tesla’s making tiles in New York, installing them Tesla employees got first solar roof installations, now reservation holders get theirs.

I can confidently say the Countryside neighbourhood is wonderful, because we used to live in it! There are loads of walking/running trails and woods with old growth trees. Sweet little in this 1939 remodel. We wanted to keep as much of the original character of the house as possible, while making thoughtful updates, which meant the pine wainscoting in the mudroom and basement stayed: painted here and stained in the earlier basement remodel. We also added a soft bench cushion, shades, lighting, hooks and hardware, and large format slate style tiles for an easy to clean floor. Finally both front doors were painted in BM for a shot of happiness! .
