Dr. David E. Berman is Fellowship trained and a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in both Canada and the United States. He completed 9 years of surgical training after medical school. Dr. Berman achieved international fame in the 1990’s when he reattached John Wayne Bobbitt’s famous missing ge***al. These are almost always carried out on outpatient basis although over-night stays are always offered as an option. Dr. Berman performs surgery in one of the INOVA system hospitals, which include Fair Oaks Hospital, and Loudoun Hospital.

This is our beautiful 57-year-old patient who got her saline implants 24 years ago and still looks amazing!
She had submuscullar saline implants by Dr. Berman 24 years ago. Of course, after two decades, you would expect some loss of skin tone. However, her implants still look very good and have remained very soft (ie. minimal capsule formation).
Dr. Berman always places the implants under the muscle since he believes it contributes to his low rate of capsule formation.
