Celebrating life today....It is the first in 7 yrs I have felt love and joy on this day.
My son decided to be celebrated two days after his birthday which is also the passing of my brother. I’m happy he chose this day.
It lightened some loved ones day and especially my heart.
My mom said maybe your brother will join us tonight!
And I def think he did....

I am so blessed to have this handsome 13 yr old teen boy. He brings me so much laughter and smiles, he’s such a gentleman, loving, smart and humble son. God has truly blessed me🙏🏼

I haven’t posted in awhile about my fitness journey. I have to say it’s the best thing I could have done for myself. I love waking up and coming to workout with and having and the vibe that everyone brings with them and their clients. I always have fun and I have never felt so good about myself. Also, being around them has really boosted my confidence. Thank you for that ❤️ I’m turning 40 this week and never thought I would feel this good! Thank you everyone at for the energy you bring🙌🏼

The past several years I have experienced a lot of obstacles that have broken me down, pushed me, made me a better mom a stronger woman and recently I realized I haven’t been accomplishing my goals. I’ve been just in robot mode. I have started really making sure I make some me time that’s valuable. I’m working out and meal prepping and making sure I stay on it. I haven’t felt this good in along time. I wanna say thank you for the pushing, encouraging, answering any questions I have or some of you that have been there for my journey that will continue! Happy Thursday,

As you may know, I am SO very excited be officially re-opening on Tuesday, June 9th!

I will be adhering to social distancing guidelines and CDC recommendations. Here are a few things to rememberer before your appointment:

- Please Arrive ON TIME to your appointment - no late appointments will be accepted and my cancellation policy will apply.

- I will need you to wait in your car and I will text you when to come in and will need you to wash your hands and I will greet you with hand sanitizer before entering the studio.

- I will also check your temp before entering.

- There is no eating in the studio.

- Please arrive with a MASK and CLEAN, DRY hair-clients without a mask will not be permitted into the studio. I will have masks available for purchase if needed. If getting hair colored, please bring a disposable mask
as hair color may ruin masks. Also, please do not arrive directly from the gym, I kindly ask that you are freshly bathed and have clean, dry hair.

- Please arrive UNACCOPANIED - guests, spouses, children and pets will not be permitted in the studio.

- I WILL be blow-drying hair but will be requiring clients to wear eye shields.

Dear Clients,

I'm excited to share that Hair by Rivera will be re-opening the week of Monday, June 8, with limited hours, Tuesday through Friday. Please reach out to me directly by text at 703-475-5515 if you are interested in booking an appointment.

Please know I will be doing my very best to ensure I can get everyone back in the chair for their haircare needs as soon as possible. Upon booking an appointment with me, you can expect to receive a full rundown of my new salon procedures, to include face masks, enhanced cleaning protocol, no eating/serving drinks in the chair, etc., for the benefit of everyone's safety and health.

As I near re-opening, I am working diligently to ensure I have all necessary supplies and the proper setup in my salon to serve you; that being said, I will no longer be putting together and supplying color kits. Instead, I hope to hear from you soon so we can get you back in the chair in the coming weeks and months!

As always, thank you for your support during this time. I look forward to seeing each of you!
