Ayer, ¡Por fin! Tuve la oportunidad de ver SIMÓN, la ópera prima de Diego Vicentini. Yo no la llamaría “película”. Se me ocurren varios adjetivos: “Un registro histórico”, “un espejo”, “Una Terapia colectiva e individual”, “Un recuento honesto y brutal”
Esta obra te sacude, te cuestiona y te emociona. Son muchos sentimientos para procesar de inmediato. Creo que necesitamos tiempo para ver la magnitud de lo que Diego y su equipo lograron.
En Simón, más que pesimismo o derrotismo, hay mucha realidad. Incómoda y desafiante, eso sí. Nadie sale ileso. Serrat decía: “no es triste la verdad, lo que no tiene es remedio” y nuestra verdad es una herida que nos tocó vivir como sociedad. Hay que enfrentarla, procesarla para sanar, no solo individualmente, sino colectivamente. Esta historia trata el desarraigo, la culpa, el perdón.
No sé si los demás latinoamericanos, pero los venezolanos somos de memoria corta. Es compresible que queramos pasar la página. Pero ahí está ‘Simón”para recordarnos que tenemos mucho por resolver como país y como individuos . No importa dónde nos encontremos. Hay que enfrentarnos a esa realidad sin remedio y trabajar para cambiarla. En los próximos años se podrá ver, la enorme contribución que esta obra dejará para la historia de nuestro país.
En cuanto a la parte artística, el resultado también es óptimo. Indiscutible. El guión, la puesta en escena, las actuaciones. Maravillosas.
Felicito a Diego y todo el equipo que logró esta hazaña. También quiero felicitar a sus padres, Claudia y Andrés por haber apostado a este proyecto. Ellos han sido buenos amigos de hace tiempo.
Han estado presentes y consecuentes en mis exhibiciones y siempre me comentaban de esta obra de Diego. A través de sus relatos, supe lo duro que puede ser realizar una película.
Anoche, al salir de la función, pude conversar con Claudia, la mamá de Diego y con , , uno de los productores de la película. Antes de irme, me comentó: “deberías hacer un dibujo de Simón”. Me dejó pensando. Le tomé la palabra y aquí lo tienen. Este es el resúmen gráfico de lo que sentí al salir de ver “Simón”
