In the early 2000’s a small company provisioned a commerce application to sell books on the World Wide Web. The success of its book offering enabled expansion across retail segments, driving substantial revenue but absorbing cash due to a pe*******on pricing approach. The company was required to build substantial computing resources to manage its Christmas volume, then was left with tremendous excess capacity the rest of the year.

This small company took the name Amazon and created Amazon Web Services (AWS) to capitalize on the excess computing capacity required to support its online retail businesses. In the ensuing years AWS became the most commercially successful “cloud computing” company on the planet.
Assessing that the cloud is ready for health, and health is finally ready for cloud, eWISE opted to expand into cloud offerings through AWS in 2019. Godston obtained his AWS cloud practitioner certification during the summer and began offering continuity back-up to prospects in the Fall.

AWS Glacier offerings provide dramatic cost savings over on-premise systems and have attracted numerous partners in the on-premise back-up domain. We anticipate our intimacy with devices and related storage (such as image management systems) will facilitate provisioning cloud storage solutions and continue to build expertise in this domain.
