We’re thrilled to be prepping for the “best party in Memphis” this weekend! The 2022 Memphis Food & Wine Festival welcomes top chefs from around the world, all reconnecting for a common cause. This primary beneficiary of this year’s event is the Mid-South Food Bank.
In a recent story by The Commercial Appeal, festival president David Benson stated, “Our board thought it was important to align our celebration of great food with an entity that helps meet the basic food needs of people in our community who need that boost.”
Gerard Bertholon, our CSO and Maitres Cuisinier de France, will be on-site for his fourth year. He’ll be preparing a Thai curry plant-based chicken dish in collaboration with our friends from Daring.

Can you believe it’s been one month since we opened our sous-vide centric Taffer's Tavern franchise in Washington, D.C.?
When Eater Washington DC asked Jon Taffer about his “kitchen of the future” centering on sous-vide products, he shared, “We do anything any other kitchen would do. We just do it in a more high technology way.”
Also shared by Eater, “Taffer says the innovative setup reduces his back-of-house labor costs by 50 to 60 percent, eliminating much of the staffing bottlenecks that plague other restaurants.”
