Photography is about capturing an emotion at any moment in time and making it last forever.
There’s something wild about building a business w/ women who know you deeply enough to send you a reel… about you.
Not for a client.
Not for a campaign.
For me.
And then telling me exactly where to post it and who needs to hear it. 😂
That moment hit me harder than the reel itself because it reminded me what we’ve actually built together. Not just a company. Not just content. But a space where women are seen in all their depth.
And yeah… I am “a lot.”
I feel deeply. I love hard. I stay too long sometimes. I overthink. I say too much. I care too deeply. I heal loudly. I fail publicly. I get back up anyway.
But I genuinely don’t believe life was meant to be lived halfway to protect ourselves from disappointment.
I hate that whole “don’t cross oceans for people who wouldn’t cross puddles for you” thing.
Cross the ocean.
Love anyway.
Try anyway.
Build the thing anyway.
Risk being misunderstood anyway.
Because somewhere in the heartbreak, the failure, the chaos, the rebuilding… is where the depth & the lessons learned comes from. And I’d rather feel everything than spend my whole life trying to avoid feeling at all.
Life is a continuum.
You learn. You lose. You heal. You evolve.
And if that makes me “too much”… cool.
I was never meant to be digestible.

What if you didn’t overthink the night… and just let it unfold?
What if you followed a hallway you probably shouldn’t have
and somehow it led to the kind of cocktail & ambiance you don’t forget.
What if you chased light instead of perfection & conversations that makes you ugly laugh without carrying what anyone thinks.

For me, everything changed when I stopped trying to be “better”
& started being intentional.
That’s where the connection is.
We all want something
REAL. RAW. PASSIONATE. SOUL FILLED
BUT don’t want to be real, raw, transparent or vulnerable.
If you’ve been feeling disconnected from your content or even feel like everytime you go to create, the needle moved BECAUSE you saw what someone else is doing…
this is your sign to come back to yourself…
PAY ATTENTION this week to what makes you feel alive, filled, butterflies, creative… & then rinse and effin repeat my loves.

LIFE.
This season has been so strange.
I used to say I’m not good at the inbetween stage… that’s so effin limiting! So that’s done. The in-between is uncomfortable because we lack control. But the growth you will experience is exponentially.
I love this moment gritty, grainy, “awful lighting”, a whole bunch of love, intention, celebration, and a bunch of “spoiled” kids eating food I never knew existed at their age 😂.
Celebrating life intentionally. In the middle of a torrential down pour there are phenomenal wins. MAGNIFY the wins my loves. 💕

I notice light EVERYWHERE I go.
I don’t know when it started & I pray it never stops.
I’m a perfectionist when it comes to certain things & I’m hard on myself.
So sometimes I have to revisit an image to see it without judgment.
I’ve taken way more images that didn’t work than I have that did work. 🤷🏻♀️
I love studying how or why an image “worked” especially if it’s not how I would have shot it.
Creatives can only create when they are “feeling” creative… BU****IT.
Just a few things that I know have allowed my work to evolve.
If you’re actually reading this whole caption (hey, ma) the last photo was taken through blurry tear filled eyes. I was so overstimulated with awe, gratitude and connection as I walked from the subway to my clients apartment that this photo will only ever means something to me. & that’s okay. Freeze moments just for YOU. 💋

I know no niche.
I don’t capture photos.
I capture moments that captivate me.
I chase light, memories, and laughter
Truly anything that invites a feeling that lasts longer than the moment.
This was one of those moments.
A lot of business can’t be based on emotions & feelings.
But this is your reminder, especially if you’re a creative… a lot of what we do is.
It’s following a feeling.
The light.
The sounds.
Your heart.
The butterflies.
A lot of what we do is intuition & being present.
Telling someone else’s story takes stillness.
It takes two ears & one mouth.
& in this moment, sitting at , I felt more alive and more tapped into the right source than I have in a while.
That feeling is always inside of us.
Being purpose-driven & choosing to tap into it… that’s what matters most.
