Building Construction Science Assistant Professor Mohsen Garshasby, Ph.D., recently spoke to the Home Builders Association of North Mississippi (HBANM) about his efforts to establish a National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) student chapter at MSU, enhancing residential construction curriculum, outreach to high schools, and promoting industry-academia relationship. He also had the opportunity to speak with Lieutenant Governer Delbert Hosemann about the ongoing work and plans to participate in NAHB student competition.
“It was thrilling to discuss these issues with many members of HBANM chapter and hear about their thoughts and ways they can support our efforts,” he said. “I’m thankful to Stacey Austin and Brandon Gustafson for their invitation and support and look forward to our continued partnership!”
