Kicking off our first with our VP of Finance, Mary Leigh Williamson !!! 🧸🍀
“Hey y’all! My name is Mary Leigh Williamson, and I’m so incredibly grateful to be serving as this year’s Vice President of Finance. In this role, I oversee all of our chapter’s income and expenses—from building and maintaining our budget to managing billing. This has been the most rewarding way to support the behind-the-scenes of everything our chapter does. Since stepping into this position, I can truly say that I have learned something new every single day. It has challenged me in the very best ways and allowed me to grow alongside the most driven and encouraging group of girls. But more than anything, this experience has deepened my love for Kappa Delta. I’ve had the privilege of seeing just how much heart and intention go into creating a sisterhood where every member feels known, celebrated, and deeply supported, which is something that I’ll never take for granted. I’m endlessly thankful to be part of a sisterhood that feels like home and has given me my very best friends. I truly can’t wait to welcome PC ’25 into this special place!💚”
Mary Leigh’s is that she loves cats 😻💝

Meet PC ‘24 Marlee Holden & Lily Gilliland !!! 💛👯♀️🤗🫂
“Ever since Lily and I met on move-in day, we’ve been attached at the hip since! Being from out of state and about to go through recruitment, she was by my side even though we had just met. Running home to KD on bid day and getting to grow our friendship is my favorite memory with her! Going into college, I prayed to find friends that embodied loyalty and authenticity - Lily is exactly that and so much more! She is the most consistent friend, and goes above and beyond for everyone around her! She lights up every room and makes each and everyday brighter. She pushes me to be the best version of myself and is such a blessing to the world! Lily is my girl for everything- whether it’s a tea date, a walking buddy, a dancing partner, or even a shoulder to cry on, she’s always there! I’m so lucky to call her my sister, but even luckier to call her a lifelong best friend!!“
💌Marlee Holden (Nashville, TN)
“Coming into college I was an out of state girl going through recruitment and didn’t know a single person which at first was honestly terrifying. But the week before recruitment started I met Marlee and since then she has become one of my best friends!!! On bid day when we both went KD, I was so excited we would get to continue sharing our college journey together. From late night study sessions, to picking out our outfit for the next date party, or just staying up late talking, she is the girl! She brings out the very best in me and pushes me to be better everyday. She is my forever concert buddy, dancing partner, and future bridesmaid. I am so grateful for KD for making our friendship grow daily, but even more thankful for a best friend and an amazing sister who is always by my side!“

spotlight with orientation leaders 17 & 7 💖🌈🪩🌷🦄 !!!
As orientation wraps up we wanted to give a special shoutout to our favorite girls & who have been spending their summer preparing incoming MSU students for their new home in Starkville! We love them and are so proud of them!
Here’s what they have to say about what being an orientation leader has meant to them!
“Serving Mississippi State University as an Orientation Leader this summer has been a truly life-changing experience. I am so thankful that I was able to welcome the newest Bulldogs to MSU and share with them my love for this place. My favorite memories from this summer have come from dancing it up with the new students at Dawgs After Dark! I truly believe I have become a better person for leading in this position, and I look forward to seeing all of the new Bulldogs on campus this fall!”
💌Phenly Oldmixon (PC ‘24 Picayune,MS)
“I’ll never be able to find all the right words to express what being an Orientation Leader at MSU has meant to me. It has truly been nothing short of the experience of my dreams and one that I will cherish for the rest of my life!!! Getting to be in this position has taught me a stronger sense of leadership and how to serve others in all that I do!! My favorite part has been every single second I have gotten to spend with my incredible team, staff members, and incoming Bulldogs!!! I am forever indebted to the University and this organization for giving me this opportunity to serve and love on these new students and welcoming me into a new famOLy!!!! My heart will always be overflowing with gratitude for this experience 🤍“
