Prepping for the Pine Mountain Chapter SAF meeting later this afternoon. We will be demoing and discussing Drones/UAVs for Forestry.

LandMark Spatial Solutions is now an official FireFly 6 authorized dealer. We believe this UAV will be a game changer in the Forestry Industry. The FireFly 6 has the ability to take off and land vertically then transition and fly the mission as a fixed wing aircraft. What this means for Forestry is smaller takeoff/landing areas over other fixed wings, the vertical landing is much easier on the UAV's components than a typical glide to "crash" landing like most fixed wings, no catapult launching mechanism to deal with. Flight times are around 40-45 minutes covering between 450-500 acres. We can provide a turn key mapping solution including the FireFly 6, appropriate sensors, processing software and training.
