Position: Part Time Receptionist
Hours: Monday-Friday 8 A.M. - 1 P.M.

Tasks include, but are not limited to:
-Greeting all customers
-Answering the phone, calling customers, and accurately documenting phone calls
-Checking in vehicles
-Scheduling appointments
-Collecting & recording payments
-Maintaining office, restroom, & waiting area cleanliness

Requirements:
-Verbal & written communication skills
-Excellent customer service skills
-Knowledgeable in operating office equipment and computer software

Job Description

Complete wide range of general auto repair and off-road/high performance services for foreign and domestic cars, trucks, and SUV’s.

Job Requirements

-5+ years of experience as an automotive technician in an automotive repair shop preferred
-ASE certification preferred
-A valid state driver’s license
-Experience using hand and power tools to replace and repair parts
-Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 60 pounds during the full duration of your shift
-Understanding of and ability to use diagnostic equipment
-Critical thinking abilities and an extensive knowledge of vehicles to diagnose and find logical solutions
-Professional demeanor and attitude
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment

Gray will be deeply missed by all.

It is with a heavy heart and a broken spirit that I announce the passing of my dearly beloved baby brother Gray Watson. He was a man of faith that loved the Lord his God with all of his heart, all of his soul and all of his strength. He was bold in his faith and could articulate the gospel because he had hidden God’s word in his heart. He undoubtedly impacted many souls during his short time on this earth and on Saturday when he finally got to fall on his knees in worship at the feet of our Lord and Savior, I know beyond any shadow of a doubt that God said to him, well done my good and faithful servant. I have no idea why God took him home at such a young age and may never understand it. But, I trust wholeheartedly that our God is sovereign over all and that Romans 8:28 says “For we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, those who are called according to his purpose”. He had a tremendous impact on my life and his steadfastness in the faith encouraged me everyday to strive to walk in Holiness and Godliness. He was an immensely important member of our family at Watson Automotive and will be forever deeply missed. The Watson Automotive family will never be the same without him. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 says “But he said unto me “My grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness” Therefore I will most gladly boast all the more in my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may reside in me. So I take pleasure in weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions and in difficulties for the sake of Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong”. It is because of the immeasurable riches of his grace through his kindness to us that we will overcome this and continue to walk by faith and not by sight as challenging and difficult as that may prove to be. Furthermore if anybody stumbles upon this post that doesn’t have a personal relationship with Christ, understand this. There will come a day that you will stand before your creator, a Holy and Righteous God. What in the world could you possibly lay at his feet if you aren’t covered in the blood of Christ. As heartbreaking as this time is for my family, I can’t imagine how much worse it would be if we weren’t confident in his salvation. Don’t waste another second of this life serving yourself. You have no idea when you may breathe your last and at that moment it will be too late. Consider that Christ died as a ransom for all and the gift of salvation is offered to us freely. Please don’t continue to put off what you may never be given another opportunity to do. With that said I can only ask that you will pray for my family as we attempt to navigate the days ahead and try to figure out how to walk through this life without him here. Know that we love you all and are so thankful for the outpouring of love and prayer that has already been shown to us.

Services are scheduled for Wednesday, August 4th at Morgan Chapel Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 10-12 with chapel service immediately following at 12:00. Burial will follow at Morgan Chapel Church Cemetery in Sturgis, MS.

The Watson Automotive crew had a blast tonight celebrating two of their 2019 graduates.

Daniel Foster earned his high school diploma this year. He plans to attend college this fall. Gray Watson earned his college degree from East Mississippi in Automotive Technology. He is now a full time employee of Watson Automotive. Congrats to both!
