I’m excited to share that I’ve officially earned the FIDE Instructor certification.

FIDE is the world governing body of chess, and this certification recognizes coaching knowledge, training standards, and player development.

For me, this is about continuing to grow so I can better help students improve—not only in chess skill, but in decision-making, confidence, resilience after mistakes, and staying calm under pressure.

If you know a student interested in private coaching, I’d love to help.

Most camps focus on playing more.

Parents tell us this stood out:
how we teach kids to stay calm, reset, and think clearly.

But here’s what kids notice:
• They make friends fast
• They play a lot
• They actually enjoy being there

That combination is what works.

Not all chess camps look like kids sitting quietly at boards all day.

At 314 Chess, kids are moving, thinking, and playing.

We mix:
♟ Real games (not just puzzles)
🚶 Movement breaks for mind and body
🤝 Group challenges and team play
🧠 Lessons that help kids slow down, reset, and think clearly

It’s fun, social, and engaging—while still helping them grow.

If you want a camp where your child comes home energized and more confident, we’d love to have them.

We keep groups small intentionally. Spots are limited.

It’s mid-April… and summer planning is getting real.

If you’re looking for something that’s more than just a way to fill the day—something your child will actually look forward to—this is exactly what we built.

At Chess Confidence Camp, kids don’t just sit and play games.

They:
• have fun (a lot of it)
• make real friends
• stay active with movement and structured breaks
• learn how to think through challenges
• build skills they’ll use far beyond chess

It’s mind + body + fun, all in one week.

Chess camp… but actually fun.
Friends, games, and confidence that sticks. ♟️

We focus on kids actually enjoying the experience.

At Chess Confidence Camp, kids:
• make friends quickly
• laugh, compete, and play all day
• build confidence without pressure
• learn how to bounce back after mistakes

Yes, they’ll improve at chess.

But more importantly — they’ll leave with:
✔ new friends
✔ better focus
✔ real confidence under pressure

If your child already knows how the pieces move, they’ll fit right in.

Spots are limited each week.

Chess camp should be something kids actually look forward to.

At Chess Confidence Camp, kids will:
♟ Play a lot of games
♟ Learn cool ideas from real positions
♟ Hang out with other kids who love chess
♟ Build confidence without it feeling like a lecture

It’s structured, but it’s fun. That’s the balance.
