My gossip corner in the dining room is a right of passage.

You know that thing where you want something to work in your house and it just doesn’t then someone asks why you’ve been carrying around a torchiere lamp for an hour and you finally give up? Okay. Cool. Just wanted to connect with other determined aesthetes for a moment. Bye.

It’s a JLID kitchen. You cook in it. You can do other stuff, too. I mean, I don’t cook but I do still find a killer kitchen necessary.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY, GIRLS! and my actual mother, Cricket, who (during the Fatal Attraction era) was asked for her autograph quite a lot. By “Her” I mean Glenn’s not her own. However, one year on Mother’s Day my mom did give me a black and white photograph of herself which she signed “Love, Mommie Dearest”. And that pretty much sums up the sense of humor in our family. We also used to watch Mommie Dearest annually to be really festive.
