This month, STL.org is thrilled to welcome MO Variety to our Curated by CURIOSITY happy hour series — a relaxed, complimentary gathering designed to bring together curious minds and creative spirits from across our city.
MO Variety is a bold, grassroots circus showcase led by the wildly talented Laura Lippert — a performer known for her gravity-defying aerial work (yes, including full routines performed from her hair 👀), and appearances everywhere from Jimmy Kimmel to Circus Flora and City Museum.
Actor, dancer, acrobat, teacher, and performance artist, Laura’s work has been called “a spectacle so mesmerizing, it leaves the audience in awe.” And this is your chance to meet the creative force behind St. Louis’ newest variety show — before the curtain rises.

We’re honored to host “Remember Me,” a collaborative community-centered art installation presented by and featuring six original portraits by local artist .
These vivid works honor lives lost to unsolved homicides in St. Louis—portrayed not as victims, but as loved ones full of light and promise.

This month we are honored to welcome Visual Artist, Ria Unson. Unson is a Filipino American artist living and working in St. Louis. Born in Manila, she emigrated to the United States at age 13. Ria’s award-winning work has been featured in solo and group exhibitions throughout the St. Louis region. Her most recent show was at Lambert airport’s Kling Family Gallery. Her art is in the Missouri History Museum’s permanent collection and in private collections in the Philippines and North America. Ria has been featured in local and national media, including the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, PBS NewsHour and the New York Times.

This month we are honored to welcome Artist, Educator and Curator, Sage Dawson. Dawson’s work examines the politics of housing and labor. She founded STNDRD and co-founded the artist-run gallery space, Monaco and is a faculty member at the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts at Washington University St Louis.
