Tonight!

This week the boys welcome to the show the super rad team behind RudeFest!

When it comes to ska music, St. Louis is a very special place. From being home to legendary bands like MU330, The Urge, and Murder City Players to boasting a deep well of incredibly talented current acts, the city has proven its chops for incubating a community that's the real deal. In 2024, several members of the St. Louis ska community launched the first Rude Fest to celebrate the music they love and the diverse scene that's contributing to it. This year the fest returns on October 10 for its third annual outing, where it will once again put the spotlight on the best of the best out there in the Midwest. With the help of their many sponsors to keep the event free for the public and their awesome friends at 4 Hands Brewery hosting for the second year, our guests have cooked up an event that's guaranteed to be another barn burner of a party.

Join us live TONIGHT at 7pm Mountain Time / 9pm Eastern as we get rude with the Rude Fest crew. We'll be joined for a very fun chat by April Dalton of Rat Party Dilemma, Saige Ritchey and Mikey Medwin of HotRails, and Kevin Willingham of Rocket Fuel Art & Design. We'll be talking about the fest's history and each of their roles in organizing the event, getting a tour of The Lou's amazing scene, discussing the importance of nurturing and tapping local talent, and seeing what our guests are currently most hyped about in the wide and wonderful world of ska. You can catch the show and join the chat on Mixcloud, Twitch, or right here on Facebook. Stay rude, y'all!
