Mechanical engineering club at Washington University in St. Louis. We do all sorts of engineering related projects and events. Come stop by and see what we do.
Current projects include building battle bots, 3d printers, and quadcopters. We also do career nights about once a year. If anyone has suggestions for a new projects we'll do that too. If you have a project you want to do and want a great group of dedicated engineering students to help you with, come check us out. Our meetings this year will be Wednesday evenings at 6:00 in the Makerspace12 (Urbauer 110A).

Fun with ASME WashU! Enjoy this video of our first flight test, along with images of the plane. Future potential project ideas include adding parachutes (landing was a bit rough), live FPV through Oculus Rift or similar, and even ridiculous things like installing an IMU, and building a po wer-gimballed cage for the operator that matches body position to camera position, so if you look down, you face down. News Story The event is one of the longest-running robotic combat competitions in th United States and is hosted by the Central Illinois Robotics Club. Events include RC Combat, Sumo, Line Following and Line Maze. Our Wash U Team placed second in the RC Combat competition.
