Everyone is asking about the new owners of the Lodge and what they want to do. Well meet Alex and Matt, you will see them in the community as they bring new life and energy to the beloved Lodge! I am very excited for their vision and updates 😍 The new name of Meramec Riverside Lodge & Retreat will be Rivervine. and the page will soon change to that.
If you are interested in booking PLEASE REACH OUT HERE as they are setting up all the systems now. They will be able to host bigger groups than I was able, so if you want to know ASK!

In the middle of chaos, taking apart what I have worked so hard to build. Has me reflecting on so much. Closing doors and handing keys of your dreams over to the next owner. We are just stewards here. I have loved this place for the last 7 years of its 100+ history. As the door begins to close, windows of opportunity open, for me, my family, the Lodge, the new owners, new chapters & new stories. I am soaking up the richness of the lessons from Meramec Riverside Lodge & Retreat full of gratitude for all the amazing times and switching gears to look forward to the next amazing adventures!!!!!
Now I better get back to packing…. Only have until Tuesday 🤪

So hard to leave this…. Packing this evening watching the deer stroll by the river. Change is not easy. Take deep breaths and move forward. Have some pretty killer memories of this magical place.🥰

Another space cleaned up.. got a bunch of wood moved. And burned lots of things that needed burning 🔥 Thank You… John Braun , Jessica Stroh and Jeanne Johnston for all the help today.
In between had showings and offers on properties!!! Whew is it 5:00 yet???
The lodge is looking emptier…. But ready for the next owner to see their vision… who is it going to be???

One of my first projects was making a coffee bar out of a dresser…. It feels weird to be taking things apart… but there is a season for everything. All I know to do is keep moving forward. Thinning out some of the things so someone else can have a vision.

Anyone looking for a Kubota LA525 Tractor?? This one has 238 hours on it, come with brush hog, blade and bucket. I bought it new for around $20,000. Made great memories and used it lightly. Some cosmetic issues. Was serviced by Kubota in summer 2023. Was told by dealer worth $16-18,000 if they sell.
