Most people assume thinning or breakage automatically means K-Tips are not an option.
That is not always the case.
I customize every install because no two clients are alike. Hair density, placement, goals, and overall hair health all matter.
For stylists, these are the exact types of client situations I teach inside of my training.
I take care of my students the same way I take care of my clients. Both leave with the knowledge, support, and guidance needed to feel confident and prepared moving forward.
Have you ever been told your hair was “too thin” for extensions?
Her trichologist referred her to get K-Tip extensions.
A hair doctor. The person whose entire job is protecting your hair health — told her K-Tips were the right move.
She came to me with short curly hair and patches.
This is what a proper installation looks like.
K-Tips don't damage hair. Bad installs do. Bad Maintenance does. Wrong removals do.There's a difference — and most people don't know it until they find the right person.
If you've been holding off because you're worried about damage, this is your sign to stop waiting.

Cutting and styling the K Tips I HATED 😩
Day one vs. almost 6 months later.
This client came in for maintenance a little over five months into her install, and the blend still speaks for itself.
In this video, I show:• Her original install on day one• The hair after being washed and blow-dried• The final straightened result before maintenance
She is natural with no relaxer, and the goal was always for the extensions to blend seamlessly with her natural texture while still giving movement and versatility months later.
A lot of people only focus on how extensions look on install day. The real test is how they hold up over time with proper placement, maintenance, and care.
K-Tip installs are currently $3,000 through June 30 and include:• Hair extensions• Custom installation• Shampoo service
A $50 consultation is required before booking.
Maintenance pricing is listed directly on the website.
With proper care, installs last 4–6 months, and every client receives private access to detailed care instructions for the full duration of their install.
Private concierge access for clients is also coming soon.
Website is shown in the video.
This client came in with thinning on top, breakage, and fine areas throughout the crown. She told me she trusted me with the parting, so I customized the placement specifically for maximum coverage and minimal visibility around the finer sections.
Every single K-Tip was adjusted during the install based on her density, growth pattern, and overall blend. That customization process is a huge part of what I teach inside of K Tip Academy because every head is different and placement matters.
The hair used here is curly raw hair with subtle peekaboo highlights for dimension without overpowering her natural look.
The goal was fullness, movement, confidence, and realism from every angle… even weeks later.

Brushing through K-Tips should feel smooth… not like a workout.
Using the wrong blow dryer will slow you down, make the process harder, and in certain situations, it can actually weaken the bonds over time.
Most people don’t realize it’s not just about technique… it’s about the tools behind it.
This is the type of detail that separates a clean install from a long-term result that actually lasts.
Inside my K Tip Academy, I break down installs, thinning and hair loss cases, and real maintenance that clients actually need in real life.
Membership is currently $297/monthy and that price is going up.

Quick backstory…
She had K-Tips before — but they weren’t installed in a way that worked for her lifestyle.
There was heavy matting between sections, and she already knew that method wasn’t it for her.
So this time, we switched it up.
✔️ Traditional K-Tips
✔️ No leave out around the bonds
✔️ Clean, controlled placement
And most importantly…
She didn’t just leave with a style —
she left with a full care system so she knows exactly how to maintain it and protect her hair long-term.
The install matters…
but what you do after matters just as much!
