Happy Spring everyone!! I am admittedly terrible at posting on social media; something I am going to keep trying to remedy, but I just signed my contract as an approved photographer for so I thought I should put out the call! It’s time to start scheduling your senior photo session if you are a current junior, going into your senior year this Fall! I love doing unique sessions that really resonate with your vibe, and I have to say, I had some really fun ones this past year, to include the senior in these photos! She loves music, so we went to record store, which was super fun. We also went to a coffee shop with book shelves, since she loves to read, and she really wanted some photos on the metro, so we made it happen. The senior experience really is the coolest!

April is pretty much booked already, and I had my first senior session this past Friday evening; what a gorgeous night it was! 😍

I can’t wait to meet you and create a fun experience with the bonus of amazing photos to remember your high school years by!

1 location, 1 senior, 3 completely different looks! I love the challenge of taking a location and creating something new and different with it - especially if it is somewhere I have photographed a lot. My brain gets bored doing the same old same old - even if I guess that would be easier. I’ve loved every single senior session I’ve had this Fall - and it’s something I live about senior sessions in general: each kid is so unique and amazing!

Apparently, I missed World Ballet Day! Better late than never, though, right? I’ve been blessed to be able to photograph a few dancers in my time as a photographer and would LOVE to photograph more. Dancers are such amazing and graceful athletes and deserve to get gorgeous images created celebrating all of that strength and beauty.

The first image I composited with a photo of a location I took in France; the second two are digital backgrounds I got from somewhere… I cannot remember 😬😅

Can you all believe it’s November? I’ve been a total slacker posting on here, but it has been crazy busy, so I hope you all forgive for that. I have been loving all of the amazing senior and family sessions this fall! And working with the horse for this one, was super cool! It’s amazing when seniors have something they are passionate about they want to bring into their session.

Annnnnd we’re back in the game! I’m back home after a two month sojourn in Maine (had to run away from this heat 😅), so it’s back to business. It’s not too late to book your senior sessions, although my weekend days are definitely running low! Also don’t forget about those Fall family photos to showcase how much your family has grown and changed over the year! Earlier this year, I went to Scotland and took a lot of landscape and wildlife photos. At Shutterfest,I got to work with the amazing model to do some dance photos. When I was photographing her, I already knew I planned to composite her into another location because the time I got to work with her didn’t allow for the kind of location I wanted to have for the images. Love getting to combine my portrait and landscape work together!! Here you can see the final, as well as the images I started with.

So a few weeks ago, I did sessions with gorgeous dresses I rented from for a program with . A Girl Scout troop came in and it was so much fun! The girls came in all together and each got a goodie bag, and hair and makeup done. These are the simplest edits I did from that set of sessions because she wanted the black background for this. She rocked this look. Such a confident queen! I had to wait until the images were printed in the magazine before I could post. More from the other girls later! I seriously love making images that make people feel awesome about themselves. ❤️

This senior was actually along as a hype person for a friend whom I was photographing. I encourage the seniors I work with to bring a “hype person” so to speak to help make things more fun and relaxed. ☺️
