Anne Frank was ice skating in the Vondelpark in Amsterdam with her friends in the winter of 1941. It was a happy moment before her life would drastically change. A few months later, Jews were forbidden to enter all public parks.

Ruth Baron, a Jewish codebreaker who helped crack N**i Germany’s Enigma machine and change the course of World War II, has passed away at 99. Working in total secrecy, she was a quiet hero whose brilliance helped save countless lives. May her memory be a blessing. 🕯️

A heartbreaking photo from the funeral of Matilda Britvan, who was brutally murdered by terrorists in the Bondi Beach Hanukkah massacre on December 14, 2025. She was just 10 years old.

May her memory forever be a blessing. 🕯️

87 years ago tonight, Kristallnacht — the Night of Broken Glass — began as the N**is launched and coordinated 24 hours of violent attacks against Jews across Germany. N**i mobs destroyed homes, businesses, schools, and synagogues. They caused the deaths of hundreds and arrested nearly thirty thousand Jewish men, sending them to concentration camps.

It was one of the largest pogroms in history. And for our family, this history is personal. Tom Bernthal’s grandfather fled Munich with his brother. If they hadn’t taken that risk, they almost certainly would have died in the Holocaust.

Today, at a time of rising antisemitism, this anniversary reminds us why we must always stand with one another and reject hate in all its forms. Never Again must always mean Never Again.

On this day, 1 August, in 1944, Anne Frank wrote the last entry in her diary.
'I'm afraid that people who know me as I usually am will discover I have another side, a better and finer side.'

She writes that there are two sides to her: one that is lighthearted and cheerful, and one that is much deeper. She doesn't show that side to other people, in fear of being mocked or not being taken seriously. Can you relate to Anne?
