Most facility managers call for a strip and wax once the floors already look bad. By then, the damage is done.

Here are signs your floors are overdue:
- They look dull even right after mopping
- The finish is yellowed, especially on light-colored tile
- Scuffs and heel marks won't come out
- Buffing no longer brings back the shine
- It's been more than a year since the last strip

Catching these early keeps floor care proactive, not reactive, and protects the floor underneath.

This week, our safety team sent a wildlife awareness alert to every 4M fleet driver. The advice applies just as much to your drive to the office.

U.S. drivers filed about 1.7 million animal collision claims last year, most involving deer, according to State Farm. Fall is getting underway, and many of us are now, or will soon be, commuting in the dark.

A few reminders from our alert:
- At night, low beams light only about 250 feet ahead, according to OSHA. Slow down enough to stop within what you can see, and use high beams when it's safe.

- During the day, stay alert. Deer cross in daylight too, especially near fields and wooded roads.

- If you see one, slow down, stay in your lane and expect more.

- If a hit can't be avoided, brake firmly and don't swerve. Swerving often leads to a worse crash.

- On every trip, put the phone down and never drive drowsy.

Slow down. Stay alert. Stay in control.

The newest class in our Lead 360 leadership program completed its first session yesterday, officially kicking off 14 weeks of training to shape the next generation of leaders across our organization.

Lead 360 is 4M's internal leadership development program, combining industry-leading education through BSCAI with hands-on immersion in 4M's own best practices. Over the coming weeks, this class will build the skills to manage people, operations, and client relationships at the next level, supporting their own career growth and the explosive growth currently underway at 4M.

🏆 Congratulations to Daniel Oxenreider, recently named Cleaning MVP by the Springfield Cardinals!

Daniel was honored on the field on the field last week, throwing out the ceremonial first pitch before Thursday's game.

This is the ninth season for our team roster with the Springfield Cardinals, the Double-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals. Daniel has led the account as Service Manager-Operations for the last five. Under his leadership, 4M oversees cleaning in the visitor locker room and Route 66 Stadium in Downtown Springfield during and after every game.

We couldn't be prouder of Daniel and everything he brings to this partnership.
