Our kids have so many nicknames! So I made them little nickname ornaments. They also make great gift tags, stocking name tags, even signs for their door (made larger).

Sparkling gold and rose gold accents on a beautiful muted sage, peach, and amethyst custom embryo geode.

I turned my moods each day of the year into this amazingly colorful core memory ornament. Each day is represented by a colored silicone bead and they’re all strung together. They can be taken out and hung as a garland as well.

As an artist dedicated to honoring and memorializing embryos for families, I stand in solidarity with the parents impacted by Alabama's recent ruling. This legislation underscores the profound importance of supporting families' rights to make deeply personal decisions about their reproductive journey. We champion the sacrifices made by parents who courageously navigate fertility treatments, including those who embark on IVF journeys amidst health challenges. Every embryo represents a cherished hope and dream, and it's paramount that families retain the autonomy to determine their future. Let us ensure that no one lives in fear of governmental intrusion into matters as intimate as personal health and family planning.

A little something new. A hand painted watercolor embryo with shiny silver diamanté hand stitching. Not only does this look very cool but also serves to help those with low vision or who are blind see what their embryo is shaped like. I’ll be finishing up two for a former customer soon so he can see what his little ones started out like.

One of Erique and my’s holiday traditions is to watch specific movies leading up to Christmas. To honor that, I created these little 3” tall, 1/8” thick, double sided ornaments of each movie’s poster. And we can easily add to them each year. It’s good to have traditions.

P.S. Yes “my’s” is grammatically correct. When in doubt remove the other person’s name and read the sentence and if it makes sense then it’s right. “One of my holiday traditions” is right; “One of I’s holiday traditions” would be incorrect. The more you know.

My mother used to make these 3D layered images and I always thought they were really cool. So I took a watercolor I painted and created one. This is set in an 8x10 shadow box and looks really incredible like you could walk right in.

From blurry photo to beautiful painting. Once you see the eyes come alive that’s when the portrait is done.

I have a deep passion for portraying embryos through my art. Within these tiny bundles of cells lie hopes, dreams, wishes, and expectations. When you first lay eyes on the photo of your embryo, every bump and shadow becomes etched in your memory. I strive to capture and honor every subtle detail in my paintings. It's a true privilege whenever someone selects my work from among the many talented artists out there. I’m honored to be able to memorialize those that make it earthside and those that pave the way for others.

Last year I painted a series of gemstones. Two of those were a cushion cut and brilliant cut diamond, where the center was replaced with a house blessing with gold accents. Just a nice little something to give to a new home owner.

Before diving into watercolors, my artistic journey was rooted in black and white acrylics on large canvases. Acrylics, known for their quick-drying nature, offer little room for error — a challenge for those of us who aren’t Bob Ross. Each piece demands meticulous planning, as demonstrated in my portrait of Donald Bryant, Jr., where I start with a sketch and carefully map out each shade. It’s akin to a colossal paint-by-number, but without the guiding numbers.

One technique I use is painting the portraits upside down. This approach shifts the focus of the brain from identifying objects to recognizing shapes, colors, and shades, enhancing the artistic process.
