What's in a name? Your identity and values are in your name. According to the book Red River by Lalita Tademy, in chapter 7, as a slave all you had was your name. Names are vital to know whose you are, where you come from, and family values. Without a name our ancestors would be unknown. Call out the names of your ancestors. Let the unknown become known and therefore honored.
