from a young age our founder, laura wright, has made elaborate greeting cards and ornate invitations for family and friends. she has spent many hours diligently writing 'thank-you' notes for every occasion and the importance of written correspondence was instilled in her from the beginning. since then, her work has evolved and she works with a variety of media. her fine art pieces can be found in private collections spanning from the atlantic to the pacific oceans and beyond. she is inspired by everything and her creativity is limited only by time. desiring to share whimsy and joy, laura brings you LOinLONDON. we sincerely hope you enjoy!

My work for a recent WIPA St. Louis WIPA event, captured by my new friends Mitchell & Katie Bennett | Wedding Photographers !

i start with a conversation about your event.
i talk through your theme. your color palette. your goals.
i start brainstorming. i start designing.
i add paint to paper.
i scan and digitize. i edit. i add text. i play... for hours.
i step away. i come back. i play for hours more.
i send proofs.
i listen. i make changes. i send more proofs.
finally, i move to production! rest assured, each item is treated with great consideration and deep care.
check back this afternoon to see these day-of items for WIPA St. Louis 's recent September event printed and in action! I loved working closely with Maureen Renée Events | Wedding & Event Designer to refine the look. 💸

THERE ARE SO MANY NEW FACES HERE,
So I thought I'd just say "hello" and tell you a few things about myself...
I did fail to explicitly mention above that I LOVE DOGS- but maybe that's clear in the pictures, since Carrott, King and Vincent Van Gogh grace most of the images. After all, they're a big part of the team around here 🤪.
THANK YOU for joining me in this space and for your interest in my work. I hope you'll find that these little boxes of my life radiate with joy, gratitude and creativity... I'm so so very glad you're here!! XO!!

...And just like that, it was over and we moved on to the next project!!!
Last Sunday morning we dropped off GOBS of original art used in creating alllll of the elements of MK & Zach's day... the dance floor... the band backdrop... lots of assorted elements... months of planning, preparation and creation- over just like that!
Then we drove down the road a few minutes further where I painted a mural before we headed home. More on that cutie little project to follow!!
Needless to say, it was a FULL, WONDERFUL weekend!!

The bride started to cry and I nearly did too. At the end of the reveal, MK gives me the nicest compliment in the entire world... something like, "I'm otherworldly grateful to you... you made my fairytale come true!" ... but you can see it in my face- I'm overwhelmed by the kindness and I should have written her exact words down, because I was too overcome to retain it properly. I may not remember her words exactly, but I'll remember this exact moment- and that exact feeling- forever.
CHEERS to the absolute sweetest couple. I am equally grateful to YOU, MK and Zach! All my love for a million happy years together. XO!
Oh- and look at cuties Arielle Peters and Midwest & Destination Wedding Videographers scurrying around DOING THEIR JOBS!!! 👀
