Giving Back Hope
Helping others is our passion and we hope that you share that passion too. Charity, Mission, and Disaster Relief, or simply offering mercy, help healing...
Charitable projects, disaster relief, non-professional counseling from a biblical prospective and pointing to the Church is what we are all about as we gladly serve our neighbors and reach out to those who are the most unable to help themselves n whatever capacity we are able to.
Let's ho Brandon!

amen!
for March 3
“Salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed” (Rom. 13:11).
Dr. Thomas Troeger of Yale Divinity School tells about waking up in the intensive care unit after surgery. Groggy, not fully awake, he heard a loud pounding. Bam, Bam, Bam, Bam. “Oh, no! Hospital construction. That’s the last thing I need. Dear God, make that pounding stop!” Bam, Bam, Bam, Bam. Sometimes we don’t get what we ask for! Becoming more fully awake, he remembered what the surgeon had said. “We’re going to put an artificial valve into your heart. At first it will make a loud pounding noise, but it eventually will quiet down.” Dear God, cancel that last prayer!
Then Dr. Troeger brought home the point of his story. Every beat of your heart is a gift. Every beat is a grace from God. “Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness” (Matt. 6:33). What are your priorities in this season of your life? You’re only one heartbeat away from eternity.
CTRL+ALT+DEL: “Search me, O God, and know my heart. Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!" Amen. (Ps. 139:23-24).

ReTHINK Homelessness |
As countless cities across the US are criminalizing homelessness, Utah has reduced chronic homelessness by 74 percent in 8 years by giving people homes. Taxpayers save money as the cost of providing people homes is lower than the cost of emergency room visits and jail stays.

Helping the Guardian Angel Settlement Association - Google+ Wear clothes you don't mind getting a little dirty. They said they would provide cleaning stuff, so it should just be a show up kind of thing and some repairs to the playground or building perhaps...whatever they need.

God willing, GBH (St Louis) is about to begin working with the homeless population in the St Louis area. Im unsure of how many people we will be able to work with at this time, but I do know that I need an additional 15 volunteers a week to open up another night patrol that will visit with and help our homeless men women and children that live either on the streets or in many cases in abandoned buildings or in wooded areas throughout the greater St Louis region.
We are currently involved in going out on Thursday evenings (nights) and befriending our neighbors who live in such difficult situations, with seemingly no way out of the cycle.
Our goal is to provide some basic necessities for them and get to know them and their life stories better while bringing the Gospel of God in order to include them in Gods kingdom, Gods provisions, and Gods mercy as well as seeing what may be able to be done in order to restore them to society if they wish to have a different life and are willing to put foth the effort to get it.
SO IF YOU HAVE SOME TIME CHECK OUT OUR NEW GOOGLE PAGES, where you can join in on discussions, sign up for volunteer, training or educational opportunities, and engage as community with like minded Christians and non Christians alike as we work together for the good of our neighbors.
Sorry it has been so long getting this going. I have been going through a very difficult time myself for over a year now, so keep me in you prayers as well.
Hope to see ya in the mission field!!!
Volunteers of all ages and abilities are welcome to join us in this mission of mercy in our own back yard.
