Yesterday, FreeSource was able to deploy a solar-powered free WiFi hotspot for folks who live outdoors and who face barriers to conventional internet access. Thank you to House Everyone STL for making this project possible!

Our Februrary Community Connection Potluck is this Sunday at Thomas Dunn Learning Center! Bring a dish if you can or just bring yourself. Break bread, share stories, skills, projects, and collective strength and wisdom with your neighbors as we navigate these uncertain times together.

The Community Connection Potluck is a proposed monthly gathering, to be held on the first Sunday of each month at Thomas Dunn Learning Center, serving the residents of Dutchtown and beyond. The project aims to foster a sense of community, strengthen local support networks, and build resilience in the face of various social, economic, and environmental challenges.

Here's a template for a Capacity and Mutual Aid Status Sheet, which is intended to serve as a transparent and supportive space through which friend groups, families, mutual aid networks, and other cohorts can:
- Communicate their current mental and emotional bandwidth
- Share personal needs
- Indicate availability for mutual aid and Support
The sheet includes optional email notifications that send out alerts when someone changes their status to indicate they're struggling, shares a need for support, or offers mutual aid.
