Hustling to beat the big storm. The home was pulled into the basement hole over poured footings, and we then raised it up 12 feet to allow for a new basement pour. Great job, guys, for battling the bitter cold and wind to get this one done.

Another home is getting a new basement by EHM. Before this home had a 6-foot-tall basement, and the other half was a 3' crawl space. Now this home will have a full 12’ tall basement… Plenty of headroom for this family and a golf simulator.

Starting 2026 off with a bang, we moved this beautiful 70’ x 46’ home weighing 92 tons across a one-mile stretch of fields. We broke out the 1968 Autocar for this project. The crew, consisting of Josh Haar, Brody Payne, Louis Werner, and new team member Jay Hill, did an outstanding job.

Constructed in 1846, this Washington, MO residence had settled 5 inches along the south wall and corner over the years due to termite and water damage. Typical construction technique during this period is termed brick nogging (Brick laid inside the wall studs down to the sill). Since this home was of balloon frame construction we utilized needle beams to catch the brick nogging and outside wall to bring this great historic home back to level.
