876 Cakes

I don't make cakes often anymore but when I do its for a donation. I love celebrating others. It's an honor to be a sugar angel.

One of my favorite little rainbow babies turned 1 years old this month. I loved making her cake & capturing her smash cake session.

I don't know how this cool 9 year old picked this theme but I loved it! The black & white popcorn is everything! Can I put that on every single cake!

I made a few cakes this year since there are some special people in my life who wouldn't accept a cake from anyone but me. First up a March baby turned 13 this year. She requested chocolate cake with cream cheese icing. My SMBC caker heart died inside. I only like cream cheese icing on pumpkin ginger cake. It wasn't my birthday though. Somehow we now have a tradition of all 13th birthday cakes ending up overloaded with sprinkles. Let's face it I am not doing anything fancy with cream cheese icing. LOL She loved her cake and made all the wishes so that's all that matters.

If all of the angel babies could smash a cake I would want to be the one to bake all the cakes, give all the balloons & take all of their photos. Every sweet little one will always be loved, dear to our hearts, never forgotten, thought about daily & celebrated forever.

A special teenager requested a Louis Vuitton cake so I made it happen. Simple & clean. I have always wanted to paint a cake gold!!! Top tier is vanilla bean cake filled with passion fruit curd & covered in dark chocolate ganache. Bottom tier is chocolate cake filled with milk chocolate ganache & covered in coconut swiss meringue buttercream.

This handsome little man celebrated his FIRST birthday over the weekend!!! EJ is surrounded by the most loving family on the planet! Cheers to many more years of celebrating & making memories EJ!

Yesterday was World Sickle Cell Day & through Icing Smiles organization I had the opportunity to make a cake for St. Louis Children's Hospital to celebrate their patients and families! Big thank you to Never Forgotten Designs for the edible images!

It was an honor creating this cake for a beautiful young lady! There are some moments that touch me to my soul & this is one of them. Thank you so much Sweet Celebrations for giving me a chance to be a part of her celebration!

When your coworker gets a new job you make cake!!! Not just any cake but a cake you can't get at the store. Double Vanilla cake, Passion Fruit Curd finished with Coconut Vanilla Bean Swiss Meringue Buttercream & dressed in pink & gold. Oh it's been too long since I have smashed one of these!!
