Councilman Randy Hein - Bridgeton Ward 3

The City was dealt a big void February 14th with the sudden passing of Mayor Briggs.

Serving on City Council for 12-years, the past almost nine with Terry, knowing him personally since 2010, I think you will agree he was professional, devoted, honest and faithful. Terry was an exemplary public servant.

Our City Charter states that upon a vacancy of Mayor, in this case by Terry’s passing, the Chairman of the Council shall be Acting Mayor until such time that a Special Election can take place. After the April 2023 election, my fellow Council members elected me to the position of Council Chairman.

Please vote to re-elect me for me for your Ward 3 Councilperson April 2nd. This is very important!

The following week, Friday April 12th, I'm seeking election for the remainder of Terry’s 4-year term as Mayor. Following our City Charter and Board of Elections timing, a Special Election for Mayor, City of Bridgeton. I do have an opponent and should I not win this election I certainly want to continue serving you as one of your Ward 3 Councilpersons.

Bachelor of Science - Business Administration - UMSL,
C.B.C. High School graduate ‘77 (Alumni Association – Secretary),
12-years Bridgeton City Council experience (First Elected 2012),
2-years City of Bridgeton Finance Commission (Appointed 2009),
2-years Missouri Municipal League Finance and Taxation Committee,
Active participant Municipal League of Metropolitan St. Louis,
Member - Holy Spirit Parish
Member - Backstoppers
