Today is Loving Day, honoring the 1967 Supreme Court decision that legalized in*******al marriage across the United States.
As someone who is in*******al and in an in*******al marriage raising a mixed family, it's a day that feels especially meaningful.
It's also a reminder of why inclusivity matters so much to me, both personally and professionally. Every couple deserves to feel celebrated, supported, and free to build a life with the person they love.
Happy Loving Day. 🤍

Darling I live for the drama!
And boy did Sarah and Drew's wedding day have it... in the best way. The staircase at Dogwood is always an eye catcher. Add in Rouge's floral design and Sarah's leg peak đź‘€ OBSESSED.
Creating this day with them was so special and so fun.

There’s a difference between decorating a wedding and designing an experience.
For us, design starts long before florals, linens, or color palettes enter the conversation. It starts with people. Their energy. Their rituals. Their favorite places. The music they play while cooking dinner. The feeling they want guests to leave with at the end of the night.
The most impactful weddings aren’t always the biggest or most extravagant. They’re the ones that feel intentional. Layered. Personal. The ones where every detail quietly reflects the people at the center of it. Because guests may not remember every flower on the table, but they’ll remember how the room made them feel.
That’s the kind of wedding we want to create every single time.

Aimee and Gio
This whole day felt like a movie set. Wicked Pony Ranch has this quiet, open beauty to it wide fields, soft light, and that peaceful feeling you get when you’re surrounded by nature. It created the perfect backdrop for a day that felt personal and grounded from start to finish.
One of my favorite parts was having their dogs there. Anyone who knows Aimee and Gio knows how much their pups are part of their life, and including them made the day feel even more like them. There’s something about bringing in the things (and animals) that matter most that makes a wedding feel authentic rather than staged. And then, as if the day wasn’t already charming enough, we had an unexpected guest join photos a curious horse who wandered over from the pasture. One of those perfectly unplanned moments that made everyone laugh and turned into something unforgettable.
The portraits out in the field are some of my favorites. The light, the openness, and the way they settled into the moment together felt natural and effortless. You can almost feel the calm of the day when you look at them.
What made this one especially meaningful for me was getting to be there for Aimee as more than just a planner. As a fellow vendor and someone I deeply respect, it meant a lot that she trusted me with her day.
A beautiful reminder that weddings don’t have to be overcomplicated to be special just thoughtful, genuine, and full of the right people.
