So inspiring to see the City Administrator, Aldermen, and so many residents of Flint Hill turn out for the Show Me Less Plastic Advocacy Workshop…along with others (like me 🙂) just interested in learning and connecting to figure out what we can do to help solve the big problems we’re creating with our plastic addiction! Bonus getting to enjoy a delicious mostly plastic free meal, see some old friends and met some new‼️💚

Are you worried that the plastic crisis is overwhelming us or haven’t given it much
thought? Either way this is a workshop you don’t want to miss! Plastic is everywhere and affects everyone so learn what you can do to reduce the use of plastic!

Build it and they will come! Whether you want them to or not🙄😉‼️ Love my backyard pond … every day is a new adventure!

We were so sorry to have to cancel this event! 😢 So many people put in a lot of time and effort organizing (shout out to Weldon Spring Site Interpretive Center, O’Fallon Garden Club, Boone Country Garden Club and MOGreen Future) and to the fabulous sponsors, supporters, volunteers, speakers, vendors, food trucks and flower show organizers! We did everything we could to hold the event but unfortunately the one thing we couldn’t control was the weather and it definitely worked against us! Lesson learned next year we’re going to have a rain date!
Thanks to all those folks who showed up and sorry we couldn’t provide a better experience and while it may have dampened our spirits some today we did enjoy what we could in the maybe fifteen minutes we had the all clear to set up before we had to take down again!🙂

We hope to come back next year even bigger and better!

And we had some fun games and giveaways so looking forward to another event so they don’t go to waste!
