Despite ending the season with a winning record, the St. Louis Cardinals missed the postseason for the second straight year.

Remember this viral picture? Yesterday, I met the guy behind the two STL champs.
Jayson Tatum & Matthew Tkachuk returned home to throw out the St. Louis Cardinals ceremonial first pitch together as champions. Jacob Bai - Chaminade College Preparatory School St. Louis classmate of Tatum and Tkachuk - was at the game to recreate the iconic photo.
