I would like to say thank you to Hazelwood East and the Hazelwood School District for giving me a spotlight in this newsletter.

This year I am a Junior in high school and this is my first year at Hazelwood East. With everything happening because of COVID 19 and already having a strong relationship with the teachers, staff, and students at my old school, moving and going to a new school halfway through high school was the last thing I wanted to do. Coming to Hazelwood has been an amazing experience for me. All of my new teachers are amazing and I’ve even started to make a few new friends. I look forward to everything that the Hazelwood School District and Hazelwood East has to offer and I also look forward to growing my career as an entrepreneur.

Over the last few days, Cavy Pads competed in the National Youth Entrepreneurship Competition. Cavy Pads successfully made it to the semifinals. Although we did not make it to the final round Cavy Pads is still very grateful to have had the opportunity to share our story on such a great platform.
