Set up and ready for this evening's Sparkling Tea Tasting! Hosting guided tastings is one of the best parts of running a loose leaf tea business. Each one is unique and surprising in its own way, and I love the process of shaping the flow based on the individuals attending.

Pictured here are stuffed dates, yuzu crinkle cookies, and strawberry & peaches in cream kanten.

Thank you, Treats, for allowing me to play in this space for a month!

A fun part of preparing for tea tastings is coming up with seasonal food pairings that highlight the subtle flavors of Japanese green tea. These cute little peach jellies are made from fresh pureed peaches, sweetened with a small amount of honey, a dash of lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. I use agar agar to get them to set, a vegan-friendly alternative to gelatin. So tasty!

I'm planning to share this summery treat, amongst others, at this week's Sparkling Tea Tasting. Follow the Summer Tea House at Treats link in the bio for more info!

Thank you to everyone who came out to the Wildcrafted Opening yesterday. What a lovely, supportive community!

The exhibition will be available during the Summer Tea House at Treats open hours, which runs June 17-July 12. Check out the link in my bio for the full event lineup.

On a personal note, I was tickled to have run out of most of the teas by the end of the evening. Tea-1 vs. Wine-0
