I'm almost done with chapter four of book 2!! And here is a scene I wrote in case you guys need a little motivation to get Book 1 or get exited for book 2 👀👀👀

Allen and his companions wove through the throngs of revelers, the pulsing music drawing them like moths to a flame. They arrived at a square where the energy seemed to originate—a trio commanding the attention of all around.

A stout man with a beard that spilled over his chest like a cascade of russet waves stood center stage, flanked by a brooding teen whose eyes shimmered with a rebellious light. To their side, little Rose swayed, her innocence wrapped in beauty as she clutched a worn teddy bear. Their voices melded in harmony, distinct yet united, enchanting the audience with every note.

The stout man raised his arms, soaking in the applause like the sun's rays on a bright summer morning. His smile was infectious, spreading through the crowd as he bowed slightly, his beard nearly brushing the strings of the lute cradled in his arms.

"Good people of Ursa," he boomed, his voice carrying over the buzz of the crowd. "I am Tommy, and these are my children, the valiant Titan and the angelic Rose. Let us fill the night with music and mirth!"

He settled the instrument against his belly, plucking at the strings with deft fingers. The first note resonated, pure and clear, silencing the square as if by magic. His band, an assembly of skilled musicians with drums, flutes, and lyres, joined in. The beat rose like a quickening heartbeat with excitement.

Tommy's eyes twinkled as he began to sing, his voice weaving through the melody like a stream through a meadow.

🎵 "Oh, hear my tale, ye merry souls,

Beneath the moon's soft glow.

For legends live, and stories told,

In lands from long ago." 🎵

The crowd swayed, entranced by the man's rich timbre that flowed over them like warm honey. The air carried his song to every corner of the square, wrapping around each listener in an invisible embrace.

🎵 "We'll ride on wings of storied beasts,

And brave the tempest's wrath.

Our spirits high, no fear unleashed,

We'll tread a hero's path." 🎵

The entertainer's fingers danced across the lute strings with increasing fervor, his band matching his intensity. Drums thundered in rhythm to racing hearts, while flutes trilled as though they were birds heralding the dawn.

🎵 "So lift your cups and voices high,

Let not this night be tame.

For in our song, our spirits fly,

And kindle life's bright flame." 🎵

With each verse, Tommy poured his soul into the performance. It was more than music; it was a celebration of life itself—a resounding affirmation that despite sorrow and loss, joy could still be found in shared moments like these.

The square was alive with energy, every soul connected by the singer's voice and the music that spiraled upward into the night sky.

The crowd parted like waves before a ship, making room for Rose as she stepped forward. The square, alive with song and cheer, hushed as the girl's voice joined her father's, pure and clear as a mountain spring.

🎵 "Once, long ago,

Where the anima roamed.

The start of the kingdom, behold.

A forest enchanted,

The spiritmon dancing,

A water sentinel whispers in the temple down below." 🎵

She twirled, her feet barely touching the cobblestones, her movements painting pictures in the air. Each spin, each step, told a story of a time long past, when peace blossomed like a rare flower in spring. Rose's voice seemed to reach back through time, plucking at the threads of history and weaving them into song.

🎵 "Two families, they came,

The Corvis and Passer,

Befriending the anima.

A city they built,

Together living in peace,

Their unity and harmony, never to cease." 🎵

Allen found himself captivated by Rose's performance. He watched as she moved with a grace that belied her young age, her angelic voice wrapping around each listener's heart. When she met his eyes for a fleeting moment, warmth spread across his cheeks.

The little girl danced on, her presence radiating an innocence and joy that no one could feign or replicate—a bright flame flickering against the darkening sky.

The applause for Rose transitioned into an anticipation buzz as Titan stepped forward. The crowd shifted their attention to the poised figure that now commanded the stage. With a deep breath, he gazed out over the sea of faces, his gaze piercing.

A chord struck, sharp and resonant, silencing the murmurs. Titan's voice, laced with a raw edge of angst and power, cut through the afternoon air.

🎵 "As twilight fell on Ursa's realm,

A shadow cast, a darkling helm." 🎵

His fingers raked over guitar strings, the sound as mournful as the dusk settling over them. Silence enveloped the square as his words painted scenes of chaos and fear.

🎵 "In the dragon wars, fury's rage,

Engulfed the kingdom, trapped in a cage." 🎵

From within the crowd, Maria watched Titan perform with an awed expression, her blue eyes shining against the afternoon light that played across her features. She acknowledged his powerful performance with a polite yet emotionally untouched applause.

🎵 "The air, thick with the scent of iron,

As dragons roared, their flames a-flying." 🎵

A girl's voice cut through Titan's melody, sharp as a knife. "Titan! Over here! It's me, Alex!"

Titan didn't falter in his song but spared her only a fleeting glance before refocusing on his music.

🎵 "Through smoke and ash, the kingdom cried,

In darkness deep, our hope defied." 🎵

The girl in the crowd frowned, her annoyance rippling through those nearby but dissipating against Titan's captivating presence.

🎵 "Terror reigned,

a kingdom in shame,

As the dragon's army laid its claim." 🎵

Titan's voice rose, filling every corner of the square with tales of desperation and battles fought.

🎵 "With thunderous roars and hearts aflame,

The Tiger Kingdom, to rescue, they came." 🎵

His song reached its peak, the air thick with the emotion of his narrative—a powerful tale of salvation and victory.

Rose's delicate voice lifted once more amongst the listeners, lifting spirits as her father beamed with pride.

"Bravo, Titan! Your voice could stir the stars from their slumber!" praised Tommy.

Titan shrugged off the praise with a dismissive wave. "Whatever," he murmured, his gaze returning to Maria in search of approval.

Rose continued, drawing the eyes of the crowd as her voice soared with the courage of her lineage:

🎵 "Through hopes and honor, Arum's kin arise,

Saviors of the city 'neath troubled skies." 🎵

Allen was entranced, his pulse quickened with the girl's gaze upon him again—an unspoken connection sparking between them. Maria nudged him with a knowing look.

"Seems she's caught your eye, huh?" she teased, a smile dancing on her lips.

Allen chuckled and shook his head, yet he could not deny the spell cast upon him by the princess.

🎵 "Granted kingship, their duty clear,

To rebuild Ursa, without fear." 🎵

Rose's performance wove with Titan's melodies, her dance steps telling stories of strength and resilience.

🎵 "With Corvis and Passer, hand in hand,

They laid foundations upon sacred land." 🎵

Each word sung was a tribute to the past, an invocation of unity and hope for all who heard.

🎵 "Each stone a testament, each wall a vow,

To honor their past and future now." 🎵

Tommy's voice wrapped around the crowd, echoing like a promise through the square.

🎵 "From ashes to glory, the city did rise,

A testament to unity, under new skies.

Under our new king's wise decree,

Ursa Kingdom was born, proud and free." 🎵

His eyes swept over his people, each face alight with shared pride. His voice rang out—a call to unity that resonated with each heart.

🎵 "We are the Ursa!" 🎵

As one, the crowd responded, their voices coming together in a tapestry of sound that rose above the rooftops.

"We are the Ursa!"

Together they chanted the anthem, each repetition louder and prouder. It was not just a song but a declaration of identity, a vow of solidarity that bound them as one.

When the last note faded, applause filled the square. Tommy bowed deeply, his children beside him, their smiles a mirror of their father's joy.

As the performers took their bows, Allen's curiosity burst forth. "Who are they?" he asked, turning to Sir Thomas, who had been watching the event with a fond smile.

Sir Thomas gestured toward the royals. "Ah, those are no ordinary entertainers. That man is none other than King Thomas Arum himself—our beloved bard king. The gothic lad is Prince Titan, and the darling girl is Princess Rose."

Surprise flickered across the faces of Allen and his companions, none having expected such an unconventional introduction to royalty.

I also got the next few books outlined and planned out and slowly working on book two when I have the time and energy, just been so tired lately on my days off.
