I have dedicated over 12 years of my life to public service in addition to many hours of volunteer work, activism, and community service.

I live in Springfield, IL.

I may not be on the ballot right now, but make no mistake, I am still in this fight.

I am still meeting with people across our community, still listening, still working behind the scenes to push for real solutions that actually matter to everyday families. Titles come and go, but commitment does not. And mine has not changed.

I believe in personal responsibility, strong local businesses, safe communities, and a government that works for the people instead of against them. No matter who is in office, those principles should not be negotiable.

As a business owner, I have seen firsthand that opportunity does not come from politicians. It comes from hard work, from customers, from people willing to take a risk and build something. Government should support that, not stand in the way.

There is still a lot of work to be done. I am not stepping back, I am stepping forward in a different way. Staying engaged. Staying vocal. Holding leaders accountable. And continuing to fight for what is right.

Because this was never about a position. It is about the people.

Hi everyone, I am still here, still fighting, and still meeting with people. While I did not win, I am continuing to work behind the scenes to find ways to put the district first and create meaningful change across the district and throughout the state of Illinois. I remain committed to fighting for the people here.

As I shared in my last post, I did not win this race, but I am not stepping away. I am already reaching out to the people who supported and stood with me to start preparing for what comes next.

I plan to announce another run in July. In the meantime, I want to continue building something meaningful with all of you. If you are interested in being part of this next chapter, I will be creating a WhatsApp group for long term coordination, support, and growth.

If you want to get involved in future efforts where we can support one another and build a stronger foundation together, please message me directly. We will begin organizing a core group and putting together a clear plan for moving forward.

I’ll need people to help collect signatures and knock on doors. Let’s go show them what grass roots really means! We are the future!

Remember to be a good person today, regardless of whether you are a Democrat or a Republican. No matter if your candidate won or lost, or if you yourself won or lost, tomorrow is a new day. It is a new handshake and a new opportunity to meet another voter. Hold on to your integrity so you can keep moving forward.

I may not have won this race, but I did not lose. I gained valuable insight, meaningful friendships, and the support of people who believed in me, shared my name, and encouraged others to vote. That means more than any single outcome.

I may not have won, but I did not lose my integrity. I will continue pushing forward beyond this election and into the next, working to give people the voice and focus our district deserves.

To everyone who helped collect signatures, spoke with me, shared my campaign, supported me, challenged me, or even criticized me, you all played a role in shaping this journey. I am grateful for every part of it.

This may be one battle, but it is not the end. We keep moving forward, focusing on real solutions and supporting candidates who are committed to doing the right thing. Whether or not my name is on the ballot, I will continue working with friends and allies to advance ideas and legislation that improve our district, our state, and our country.

Please stay connected and look for me in the next election. I am here to fight for people, regardless of political party. We need common sense leadership that puts people first, not party lines.

I look forward to continuing to attend community events, Lincoln Day dinners, county fairs, and candidate meet and greets. If you know of something happening in the district or even beyond where I can help, let me know. I will continue reaching out to leaders, legislators, and partners at every level to do what is best for the people.

We can work together toward a shared goal of making our communities stronger. I am committed to solving problems, not creating more of them. And I am not done fighting.

Regardless of how today unfolds, I am truly honored to have connected with so many people both inside and outside my district. Thank you to my volunteers, our County Chairman, every voter, and everyone who supported me by signing my petition.

I also want to extend my sincere appreciation to the League of Women Voters, members of the media, local radio stations, and everyone who helped organize debates, forums, and meet and greets. Thank you to the labor unions who helped produce my signs, and to my friends and family for standing by me every step of the way.

This is what democracy is about, standing up to be a voice of reason and a voice for the people. I will always put the Constitution first and our district second, because strong principles create strong communities.

You have a choice. I respectfully ask for your vote and your support, and I encourage you to share that message with others.

Please also keep in mind that I work for the state. If I do not respond right away, it is not because I am ignoring you. I am restricted by federal and state law from engaging in political discussion while on state time, so there may be delays in my response.

Best of luck to all of my friends who are running. If you are in overlapping districts, I strongly encourage you to support Dr Long, Joshua Loyd, or Bailey Templeton today, as they are in contested races.
