If you’re trying to decide your wedding colors, here are some tips to get started:

- Start with how you want the day to feel. Do you want it to feel soft and romantic? Bright and joyful? Moody and intimate?
- Let the venue and season lead. Your venue is already doing half the work so the goal is to complement it.
- Look at things you already love, colors you like to wear, or decorate your home with. Those are usually the ones that’ll feel most like you on the day too!

+ a short reflection: wedding days are bittersweet. over the course of planning, my couples (more specifically, the brides) and I get very close! we spend so many hours over the phone, text and email getting to know each other and bringing together every little detail.

I say all of this because Lexie was truly such a joy to work with and by the end of the wedding night, it was a bittersweet goodbye. no one really talks about that final goodnight… and imagining when or if our paths will ever cross again (I hope they do!!)

even still, Lexie sent me the most heartfelt voice memo the morning after and truly poured so much life into me. she reminded me just why I love what I am building and how special it is to have the right person on your team. small moments like that are what keep me going.

all of that to say, thank you to every couple that has trusted me with their wedding day, I am honored in every sense of the word. to my future couples, it’s almost your turn and I simply can’t wait!!
