As the nation’s premier STEM research competition for middle school students, the Thermo Fisher JIC empowers young innovators in grades 6-8 to explore original research and tackle real-world challenges.

Since the Gemini missions of the mid‑1960s, we’ve had a tradition of playing music to wake up astronauts and signal the start of their workday.
