Food not Bombs is having a social event this Saturday, June 6 at noon at Duncan Park! Come out to paint a rock to keep or donate to Food not Bombs to use as a paperweight for our literature. All materials are provided, but feel free to bring your own as well!

We’ve got mushroom balls in tomato basil sauce, French onion soup, veggie salad and fruit salad! And plenty of fresh produce. Come visit us on Capitol Avenue between 6th and 7th street at 4 for a hot meal and groceries!

Food Not Bombs Springfield, IL will be tabling on Community Row for most of the 2026 Levitt AMP Concerts this summer!

If you still haven't made it to one of our free community meal shares yet, come check the vibes and hear what we're all about. We'll get you plugged into our upcoming community events (like our next free meal and produce share this Saturday, May 30! Volunteer spots detailed in our links) and other ways you can get involved. Or just come say hello~

Help us build mutual aid structures in Springfield and resist toxic, bootstraps hyperindividualism while reducing food waste. We can't do this alone!

We'll be out on the southwest corner of Capitol Ave and 7th St, sharing a free meal and fresh produce again Saturday, the 30th at 4PM for anyone who wants it. Bring your grocery bags and containers if you have them, but we've got you if you don't.

We'll have harm reduction supplies, some personal care items, live plants, and clothing for free, too!

Come sit, eat, and chat with us for a while, or take it all to go with you

We're making lunch for May 20 at noon with for Intricate Minds' Warm Meal Wednesday. We could still use some help on Tuesday evening and Wednesday preparing, reheating, and serving the food, so check out our sign up, or just show up to the kitchen or .minds23 if you want to get involved, and please share it with others!

Our Saturday meal share was lively and a ton of fun despite road closures.

Black bean burgers with vegan sriracha mayo made from scratch, oven roasted tomatoes and peppers, stir-fried veggies grown and donated by our friends at , roasted broccoli & cauliflower salad, fruit salad, and banana chocolate chip muffins. We also had tables of fresh produce, clothing, reading materials, personal care items, and several drinks, all freely shared.

Our next Saturday meal share won't be until May 30, but we have lots going on until then. Come to our general meeting on Monday, May 11 at 6:30pm in the 3rd Floor Bicentennial Room at Lincoln Library to help us plan what's next
