Sometimes we’re lounging at a beach resort. Sometimes we’re road-tripping through charming Midwest towns.
Sometimes both in the same week!
We don’t believe you have to stick with one type of travel.
We love adults-only resorts.
AND we love boutique hotels.
We love visiting other countries.
AND we love weekend getaways.
We had a great time in Mexico,we had an incredible time in Wisconsin!

All-inclusives might not be for everyone! 🤷🏼♀️
We understand why people think resorts are crowded, loud, and full of average food.
But resorts like Excellence Coral Playa Mujeres completely flip the script. Quiet beaches, incredible restaurants, rooftop views, private pool afternoons, and not having to think about a single bill the entire time.
Don’t get me wrong—we love an adventure trip, like riding bikes in Ireland, hiking in Hawaii, walking 20k steps in Europe in one morning.
But we also love allowing ourselves to relax, and adults-only resorts are the perfect place for that.

When did travel become a competition?
People say all-inclusive resorts “don’t count” as travel, as if there’s a “right” and “wrong” way to do it.
Accessibility matters. People have medical needs. Maybe they just want a relaxing vacation where everything is taken care of!
None of those reasons are any less valid than choosing to hike mountains, road trip, camp, or stay in an Airbnb.
If you’re enjoying yourself and making memories, it counts. ❤️

Arrival Day is kind of the best!
We’re always so excited to be there and check everything out.
When we arrived at Excellence Coral Playa Mujeres, we were already impressed!
The lobby was really pretty, and air conditioned! 😅
Our two-story suite with rooftop terrace and private pool were a lot of fun.
We had a chill dinner, followed by my favorite part: ICE CREAM SANDWICHES!
Then we went for a little stroll on the beach.
I was a little bummed about the seaweed. Stay tuned to see how it was for the rest of the trip. 👀

This was a GREAT room!
There were only a few (small) things we didn’t like…
